The question of free will has been alive since the Age of Awakening, around the 1500s, when scholars of the Roman and Western Empires delved into existential questions—the meaning of us, our place in the world, and the very nature of our being. Many argue that humans possess free will, citing historical and religious texts. The concept of free will gained prominence as nihilism took hold of society, resurfacing long after its initial argumentation.

The short answer is YES . Although it might not be exactly what you think it is. Free will is a very blanket term to many capabilities and actions that humans can take within their dimensions of existence. Therefore granting the person the ability to enact on their free will within the scope.
Can You Measure Free Will?
While we ponder and declare free will as the abyss of control and untamed character, surrendering to worldly desires becomes inevitable. It’s not about whether we can measure it, but rather how much we are willing to pay as the price for our existence.
Measuring free will is tricky because it exists at the crossroads of philosophy, neuroscience, and psychology. Some argue that free will is just an illusion, shaped by unconscious processes before we even make decisions. Others believe that while external factors influence us, we still have the ability to choose within our given scope.
